Kaleidoscope
learning
center, LLC
Our mission is to cultivate wisdom and virtue
in students through a classical education
rooted in Christian principles, fostering
intellectual curiosity, moral character, and a
lifelong love of learning.
Kaleidoscope’S
Mission
Our vision is to illuminate the inherent beauty within
every learner, recognizing that diverse minds, created in
God's image, like fractured pieces of light, can create a
breathtakingly vibrant image of His glory. We aspire to
be a learning center that, guided by biblical truth,
provides the tools and environment for individuals to
assemble their unique, God-given talents and
experiences, revealing the full spectrum of their
potential for His purpose.
Kaleidoscope’S
VISION
Biblical Worldview:
All learning is anchored in a Biblical Worldview.
There is a value placed on the order of creation and the
beauty that God has created. Faith and reason are not in
conflict but rather complement each other. They seek to
cultivate both intellectual and spiritual understanding.
Student - Centered:
We value prioritizing the individual’s needs and
learning styles of each student, while creating a
supportive and encouraging environment where
students feel valued by focusing on personalized
learning plans and tailored instruction.
We value providing high-quality instruction and
resources while maintaining a commitment to
continuous improvement and innovation.
Excellence in education:
We value fostering a love of learning that extends beyond the
classroom while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and
equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to
fulfill their God given purpose.
lifelong learning:
We value creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for
all learners, regardless of background or ability, celebrating
diversity and promoting respect for individual differences, and
providing equitable access to educational opportunities.
Inclusivity & diversity:
We value building students' self-esteem and confidence in
their abilities, encouraging students to take ownership of
their learning, and providing students with the tools and
strategies they need to succeed.

Community and Collaboration:
We value building a sense of community among
students, educators, and families. and encourage
collaboration and peer learning.
We value demonstrating a genuine passion for education and
a commitment to student success, going the extra mile to
support students and families, and showing dedication to the
improvement of each student.
Passion & Dedication:
We value being able to change and adapt to the
needs of the students, changing educational
landscape, and changing teaching styles, and
curriculum to better fit the students.
Adaptability:

transparency, building strong relationships with students,
parents, and the community, and fostering a culture of

Educational philosophy
Wrestling with truth promotes blessing and virtue for the whole community. Accountability both sharpens and humbles the learner.
Classical education embodies the most natural skills of learning. Truth is required to inculcate wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
Classical education prepares us to accept responsibilities. Students will rise to challenges. Attention leads to ownership. Ownership builds
discipline. Discipline is the cornerstone of freedom. Freedom provides opportunities for noble choices. All choices bring consequences.
Understanding consequences defines leadership. A great leader is guided by grace, humility, integrity, discipline, and excellence.
Educational philosophy
Grammar
The classical educational model aims to cultivate students who are wise and virtuous through nurturing
the soul in truth, goodness, and beauty. This is accomplished by focusing on the trivium primarily. The
trivium consists of the grammar, dialectic, and rhetoric.
During the grammar phase, students seek knowledge by attending to and naming the different parts,
memorizing timeless facts, expressing themselves, and telling stories. The goal of the grammar phase is
exposure through repetition and experiences. Through repeated exposure, the students will file
information into their long-term memory, and they will begin to ask questions about the parts. When
students start asking questions about the parts, they have become dialectic.
Educational philosophy
Dialectic
The classical educational model aims to cultivate students who are wise and virtuous through nurturing
the soul in truth, goodness, and beauty. This is accomplished by focusing on the trivium primarily. The
trivium consists of the grammar, dialectic, and rhetoric.
The student in the dialectic phase seeks understanding by asking questions. Educators answer
students’ questions by asking more questions continually leading the student to discover their own
truth. The five common topics are commonly used to equip students with the tools to ask good
questions. Students begin by defining terms. After terms are defined, students then compare terms to
explore how they are alike and different. Next, students explore circumstances and discover context.
After examining the circumstances surrounding events, students look at the relationship between
events seeking to understand what caused events and the consequences of those events. In addition,
students learn to use credible sources and seek out information from sources of authority. Conjointly
with learning to ask good questions, classical students learn to analyze arguments, identify logical
fallacies, and construct arguments of their own. This skill is essential for navigating complex ideas,
evaluating information critically, and engaging in meaningful discourse. Students, who have masted the
dialectic, naturally become rhetorical and teach others.
Educational philosophy
Rhetoric
The classical educational model aims to cultivate students who are wise and virtuous through nurturing
the soul in truth, goodness, and beauty. This is accomplished by focusing on the trivium primarily. The
trivium consists of the grammar, dialectic, and rhetoric.
Rhetorical students use the five cannons of rhetoric to persuasively express themselves to audiences of
all sizes. The five cannons of rhetoric include invention, arrangement, elocution, memory, and delivery.
These students can discover what they want to communicate, arrange the content to be easy-to-follow,
present it with the most persuasive and effective words, memorize the content, and deliver it with
precision. They use the previously learned skills to analyze complex texts, identify flawed arguments,
and formulate their own conclusions.
The soul is nurtured by studying original documents along with studying ancient and classical people,
events, arts, and literature. Through Socratic dialogue, topic wheels, five common topics, and
conversations, students discover virtuous qualities and identify which qualities that they want to
possess. By learning about both virtuous and immoral historical people and events, students can
explore the outcomes of making choices. Students internalize the lessons that they learn, and desirable
virtues become part of their fabric.
Biblical Worldview
We believe God
trusts parents
with their
children, and so
do we.
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search
out a matter is the glory of kings. Proverbs 25:2
The timeless classical approach equips students
with tools for lifelong learning. Using the trivium
students are taught how to think critically while
cultivating virtues.
Classical Approach
All learning is anchored in a Biblical Worldview.
There is a value placed on the order of creation, and
the beauty that God has created. Faith and reason
are not in conflict but rather complement each other.
They seek to cultivate both intellectual and spiritual
understanding. We explore all facets of creation—
music, art, entertainment, culture, history, science,
and more—interpreting them through the lens of
Scripture.

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your
children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you
get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your
houses and on your gates. Dueteromy 6:4-9
We believe children learn best with a multi-sensory approach.

Before I formed you in the
womb I knew you, before
you were born I set you
apart. Jeremiah 1:5
For we are God’s handiwork,
created in Christ Jesus to
do good works, which God
prepared in advance for us
to do. Ephesians 2:10
And let us consider how we may
spur one another on toward love
and good deeds, not giving up
meeting together, as some are in
the habit of doing, but
encouraging one another—and
all the more as you see the Day
approaching. Hebrews 10:24 - 25
We believe all children are created by God for a purpose.
